dc.description.abstractA p-cyclic matrix A can always be transformed into a consistently ordered form PAPT, where P is a permutation matrix. In this paper simple and systematic techniques are described for establishing the cyclicity of a matrix and for determining P. The techniques depend on the use of ordering vectors, and formulae for determining these vectors are derived. © 1975 Copyright 1975 by Academic Press Inc. (London) Limited.en
