One of the main purpose of this thesis is to display the conditions of this poetry period and to show how the Pierre Nora’s “Memory Place” theory was formed in their poems. In last part, poems are analized according to their gramatical, semantical and semiologic elements. The ten poets, who rejected the seperation of Cyprus, breaks its relationship with the past and became representatives of an autonomous literature.
