This dissertation aims to provide information about the latest developments in International Human Rights Law regarding the legal rights of transgeders. As the dissertation demonstrates, trangeder people face numerous difficulties in everyday life because of the incomplete or the absence of legal gender recognition procedures and it is necessary to in international and national level to regulate the above issue, so that they can live freely in a society that respects their fundamental rights and freedoms.
