We employ a Kansa-radial basis function (RBF) method for Poisson boundary value problems in annular domains. This discretization leads, for any choice of RBF, to linear system matrices possessing block circulant structures. The linear systems can be solved efficiently using Matrix Decomposition Algorithms (MDAs). The feasibility of the proposed technique is illustrated by a numerical example. © 2014 WIT Press.
