dc.description.abstract | In the context of two-Higgs models, a hierarchy of heavy quark masses can be generated naturally at the infrared fixed point of the renormalization group equations for the Yukawa couplings, while flavor-changing neutral currents are naturally suppressed. In the case of four quark families, we find Σu 2=μmd 2{all equal to}(140 GeV)2 and an upper bound of 100 GeV for the top quark mass. © 1988. | en |
