Within the quenched approximation, we study the lattice spacing dependence of various observables of heavy-light-mesons in the mass range 1 GeV to mB and in the static approximation. Large corrections to the leading order of the heavy quark effective theory (HQET) are found. The distance of stringbreaking in the static quark potential is estimated. © 1992.
