Multilayered superconducting SW structures with inequivalent layers are considered, where superconductivity in W (weakly superconducting) layers is induced through their proximity with the S (strongly superconducting) layers, A solution of the Ginzburg-Landau equations is obtained within the Lawrence-Doniach model, where layers are coupled by Josephson tunneling. Close to the Hc2(T) line, it is shown that the SW equations map onto those of an effective SS model, with a field and temperature dependent anisotropy. The result is exact in low fields and can be qualitatively generalized in higher fields. The relevance to experiments performed on high-Tc superconductors is discussed. © 1992.
