The problem of climate change is one of the major worldwide concerns. Moving towards a cleaner and more sustainable development in different sectors including industries, transportation, power, and other areas, is the answer to this problem. The European Union's Green Deal and sustainable initiatives, seek to make Europe climate-neutral by 2050. The EU Renewable Energy Directives, which aim for 42,5% renewable energy by 2030, are a crucial component and the increased use of renewable energy sources in the power system is a significant step in this direction. Therefore, the idea of hybrid AC-DC systems is becoming more and more popular as DC devices become more widely used. This study presents an evaluation of a hybrid AC-DC distribution system installed in a historical building in Cyprus, in combination with a hybrid electrical-thermal storage and a DC driven Heat Pump. The paper covers further evaluation of the achieved results covering the period of January to July 2023. In accordance with the noted results the proposed hybrid system can provide significant benefits both for the system owner and the distribution system operator.
