It is a widely known phenomenon that forests are being degraded daily, which makes them vulnerable to unsustainable agriculture and increased urban development. This research aims to investigate whether employees on a worldwide scale are aware of the severity of forest degradation levels, the qualities that trees have to offer and whether they are willing to embrace Green HRM practices that regard forest conservation. Particularly, the study is conducted in the context of Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility of Organizations and explores on a quantitative basis the popularity of the said concepts, whether they can be correlated and how they can be related. Overall, the results highlight that the global community is well aware of the fundamental role that forests have, as well as their global crisis, and that they share considerable interest in supporting the Green HRM practices suggested. Introducing the novel idea of Green HRM practices tailored for forest conservation in the global organizational context might alarm Managers and HRM Practitioners and motivate them to combine efforts to mitigate such a global crisis.en

In light of this research, a symbolic gesture has been made by planting 81 trees in the forests of Madagascar. This action aims to showcase the significance of forests and to depict that researchers must both suggest in theory, implement in practice and inspire the addressed communities.en
