dc.description.abstractThe effective use of the semisolid process presumes a good theoretical framework to describe it. The understanding of semisolid behavior should be based upon a combination of basic and empirical knowledge in versatile models which, by numerical and physical experimentation and feedback, can be used to predict the actual behavior of these materials. In this paper we are discussing the current understanding of the theology of semisolid suspensions and provide a theoretical basis to describe it.en
