The influence of the Bi/Sb partial substitution to the lattice thermal conductivity of the K 2(Bi 1-zSb z) 8Se 13 solid solution series was studied. The variation of the lattice thermal conductivity with comparison was impacted by the contributions from the disorder associated with the formation of solid solutions and arising from point defects. The low-temperature Umklapp peak of lattice thermal conductivity was suppressed when the Sb concentration increases due to the increase of the disorder caused by the Bi/Sb partial substitution. The contribution from the formation of solid solutions varies with stoichiometry showing a maximum when Sb substitutes 50% of Bi.
