Ἑλληνικὲς διάλεκτοι στὸν ἀρχαῑο κόσμο. Actes du VIe Colloque international sur les dialectes grecs anciens (Nicosie, Université de Chypre, 26-29 septembre 2011)

Abstract

This volume brings together 20 papers presented at the 6th International Symposium on Ancient Greek Dialects (Nicosia, September 2011). The topics covered are remarkably varied: the history of the language and its dialects, phonetics, morphology, syntax, stylistics, toponymy, lexicon, intra- and extra-dialectal influences, and more. Particular attention has been paid to the comparison of epigraphic texts with contemporary parallel literary works, in order to be able to statistically measure their differences.
