dc.description.abstractA workshop on Metadata Management System in Grid and peer-to-Peer system was held in the Senete House of the University of London on December 16, 2003. The first session of the work shop contained three presentations on different types of metadata, data mining techniques and grid resources to build Grid-aware data mining applications. The second session was addressing the applications of peer-to-peer networks and issues related to data-centric networks and data management. The presentations in the last session identified several common issues arising in systems providing personalized e-learning.en
