This letter proposes an adaptive wireless push system for wireless data broadcasting environments, where multiple channels are available for broadcasting data from a broadcast server to a large number of mobile clients. We address the general case where the client demands are not dependent on client locations. The efficiency of the proposed system lies in the fact that it offers significant performance improvements to the system clients with the need of only one receiver at each client device. Wireless broadcast data scheduling in environment with re-attempt users: Optimization through intelligent feedback monitoring
Vlajic, N.; Charalambous, Charalambos D.; Makrakis, D. (2001)Most of the previous work on wireless broadcast data scheduling has been based on simplified assumptions regarding mobile user behaviour. In this paper, we show that the employment of a realistic mobile user behaviour model ...

On the compound capacity of a class of MIMO channels subject to normed uncertainty
Loyka, S.; Charalambous, Charalambos D. (2012)The compound capacity of uncertain multiple-input multiple-output channels is considered, when the channel is modeled by a class described by a (known) nominal channel and a constrained-norm (unknown) uncertainty. Within ...

Balancing wireless data broadcasting and information hovering for efficient information dissemination
Liaskos, Christos K.; Xeros, Andreas; Papadimitriou, Georgios I.; Lestas, Marios; Pitsillides, Andreas (2012)Wireless data broadcasting is an efficient, bandwidth preserving way of data dissemination. However, as the amount of data increases, the waiting time of the clients becomes unacceptably high. The present paper proposes ...
