Bispectral analysis suggests that EMG is highly non-Gaussian at force level (FL) = 10% of maximum voluntary contraction the value of the test statistic for Gaussianity decreases with increasing FL up to 70%, and then slightly increases at FL = 100%. Furthermore the magnitude of the bispectrum increases with force.
