dc.description.abstractThis short article takes the form of a series of observations on Tuncer Bagiskan's book, the English translation of which was published as above. These observations, thematically diverse, are made in connection with general points of scholarly methodology. The article will partake also of the spirit and form of a review. My observations spring from the very close acquaintance with a text which a translator gradually acquires.
