Remote working plays a major role in organizations since it brings both advantages and disadvantages for both employees and employers. It is broadly described as a situation in which employees work mainly from home or other remote location while they communicate with their employers through technology tools (Azimov, 2020). During the pandemic crisis, remote working was quickly established across most organizations. Remote working is directly related with the employees’ job satisfaction and so, it is worthy identifying its consequences and acting accordingly. Job satisfaction is simply defined as an individual’s feeling towards his or her job that can be either positive or negative (Ankenman & Nelson, 2012; Schermerhorn et al., 2012; Smith, 1969). This study examines the relationship between the experience of remote working and the levels of job satisfaction across employees within the Cypriot context during the new environment that Covid-19 created. Sixty participants took part in an online survey and their responses were further analyzed. In the survey, the levels of job satisfaction were measured in relation with the employees’ remote location. Consistent with some of the existing studies, a positive relationship between remote working and job satisfaction was found.en
