dc.description.abstractΣτη διδακτορική διατριβή πραγματοποιήθηκε σύνθεση n-τύπου half-Heusler με τη μέθοδο της μηχανικής κραμάτωσης στοχεύοντας στην ανάπτυξη υλικών με δομικά χαρακτηριστικά σε ατομικό, νανο- και μικρο-επίπεδο για μειωμένη θερμική αγωγιμότητα. Η μέγιστη θερμοηλεκτρική απόδοση είναι περί το 0.7 στους 763Κ και επιτεύχθηκε στις στοιχειομετρίες Ti0.4Zr0.6NiSn0.985Sb0.015 και (Ti0.4Zr0.6)0.7Hf0.3NiSn0.98Sb0.02.el
dc.description.abstractIn this PhD thesis, n-type half-Heusler materials via mechanical alloying aiming to develop materials with structural features at atomic, nano – and micro- level for the reduction of the thermal conductivity. The best thermoelectric figure of merit was about 0.7 at 763K and it was achieved in Ti0.4Zr0.6NiSn0.985Sb0.015 and (Ti0.4Zr0.6)0.7Hf0.3NiSn0.98Sb0.02 compositions.en
