dc.description.abstract | In this paper, a simplified 2D navigation system for hysteroscopy imaging was introduced. This system was evaluated in virtual endometrium models, and the position sensor measurement errors were very small and acceptable by the physician. The 2D navigation system, combined with quantitative image analysis will help the physician in gaining a better understanding of the pathophysiology of the tissue under investigation.
