Σχολή Ανθρωπιστικών Επιστημών / Faculty of Humanities
Η Σχολή Ανθρωπιστικών Επιστημών εστιάζεται στην έρευνα και τη διδασκαλία που αναπτύσσουν το διάλογο μεταξύ, αφενός των Αγγλοαμερικανικών και Ευρωπαικών παραδόσεων και, αφετέρου, των παραδόσεων της Μεσογείου, της Μέσης Ανατολής και της Βαλκανικής. Στα Τμήματα Αγγλικών Σπουδών, Γαλλικών και Ευρωπαικών Σπουδών και των Τουρκικών και Μεσανατολικών Σπουδών καλύπτονται διαφορετικές ιστορικές περιόδους (από τον Μεσαίωνα ως το παρόν) και ένα φάσμα θεμάτων που άπτονται της λογοτεχνίας και της λογοτεχνικής θεωρίας, της ιστορίας των ιδεών και της αισθητικής, της ιστορίας και της πολιτικής, των συγκριτικών προσεγγίσεων στη λιγοτεχνία και τον πολιτισμό, της θεωρητικής και της εφαρμοσμένης γλωσσολογίας, των μεταφραστικών σπουδών και της διερμηνείας , της διδασκαλίας δεύτερης γλώσσας και της φιλοσοφίας και των σπουδών φύλου.
